When you join the launch list, we collect your email address so Michael J. Morris can send you book news, preorder information, and occasional related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. You may join through this website or through an instant form presented by an advertising platform such as Meta; in either case, the information is used for the same launch-list purposes described here.

We also use website analytics to understand which pages and campaigns are useful. This may include device information, referral source, and interactions with the site. Links in our emails identify the subscriber the message was sent to. We record link requests and timestamps, and use a first-party cookie lasting up to 30 days to associate subsequent website visits and retailer clicks with that email link. We do not receive your retailer checkout activity through this tracking. We do not sell your personal information.

Launch-list members may receive a unique sharing link. We record confirmed referrals so members can see how many readers joined through that link. We do not disclose a referred reader’s email address to the person who shared it.

Information is handled by service providers used to operate the website, analytics, and email communications. We retain it only as needed for those purposes or as required by law.
